Let
us take a look at what Singaporean teens think.
Below are the results of a survey on teen crimes
done by teens age 12 to 18.

Q:What
do you think are some of the crimes Singaporean
youth commits?
A: Gang Fight, Rape, Murder, Theft, Vandalising
& Robbery etc.
Q:
What are some of the ways we can prevent teen crimes?
A: Counselling, Campaign, Self-control, Strict Punishment,
Parental Guidance.
From
the results of the survey, we can see that:
- Majority
has been tempted to commit crimes before.
- Majority feels neutral towards crime-committing
teens.
- Majority does not think that the problem of teen
crimes is very serious.
We can see that Singapore teens got better things
than youth crimes to worry about. Is this really
the case? Do we not need to worry about teen crimes
or is this an issue that we got to take more notice
of?
