I always look forward to my saturdays, to play soccer with zelva. Initially, I wasn't close with the 2e6 guys until team zelva was formed in mid 2002. I think I don't make close friends easier, and it may be due to the fact the I always look for a common interest or identity with my friends. Team Zelva may not be the strongest team around, but we got good rapport. We still need to work on our teamwork on the pitch though. Off the pitch, I always enjoyed my time with my zelva mates, whether it is a steamboat feast at darren's house or a movie outing. I need be to more composed during friendlies, and also improve on my passing and dead ball techniques, in order for me to be a complete sweeper and centre-back. I can only do so by playing in more matches for zelva. My first overseas dream happened during the december holidays in 2003. I went sydney with my mum on bahrain gulf air as singapore airline was fully booked. I hated the 7 hours plane ride. We stayed at Carlton Crest Hotel which was near chinatown in sydney. It was a eye-opener indeed; australia really has great cities like sydney and beautiful scenery like the blue mountains. We didn't buy much from sydney though cause things were really expensive, but I think the 200 photos we took there were more memorable and priceless. I was really surprised how they respected their cleaners. They wore hats and smart attires, better attired than my dad who wears t-shirt and jeans to office everyday! I will be ending my chapter of my jc life with something negative - scouts. I am disappointed with myself for quitting scouts for not giving any reason. Don't dare to face yeung ching, mrs chan, kian tiong and the rest of the people there. I have lost the interest in scouting after becoming a venture and the pressures from the leaders telling me to sign up for courses I don't want and the outstanding scout award makes me quit yeung ching. Next chapter: NS followed by Uni!!!!!!!!!!! 3th April 05'
